From Seth: “I am a graduate of Western Kentucky University and live in Nashville. I grew up in Gallatin where I was raised in a megachurch within the Southern Baptist denomination.

Growing up, I didn’t agree with the church’s conservative views on multiple issues, leading me to attend a non-denominational church with my family later in life. While it was a step forward, I still didn’t feel that it was fully inclusive.

Last year, after attending Nashville Pride, I decided it was time to become part of an affirming community of faith, leading me to gaychurch.org. Through there, I saw Glendale, which I already knew as an affirming and reconciling community. I quickly fell in love with the authenticity of Glendale and am grateful for this wonderful community of faith.”
