The Little Library @ Glendale
Come visit The Little Library @ Glendale where kids and parents who come to play on our playground can take a break and read a book. We are partnering with Jump In Nashville to encourage everyone to read. If you have any books you would like to donate we will gladly accept them. Each year, Glendale sends a mission team to the Cumberland Plateau in rural Tennessee to help meet the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of those in this community. As a community of faith that welcomes and affirms all people – no matter who you love or how you identify – we are intentional in showing up and being a part of Franklin Pride, Murfreesboro Pride and Nashville Pride each summer to make sure that our LGBTQIA+ siblings know that there is a community of faith where they can find community just as they are. Do you know how to sow or crochet? We welcome your knitted shawls, hats, gloves and other items. Shawls are prayed over by the congregation and then given to someone in the community that can use the reassurance of prayers and God’s love to people who need comfort and healing. Questions? Do you want to get involved in prison ministry here in Nashville? Find out how both individually and as a church, we can get involved in various outreach efforts for our incarcerated siblings.

Are you looking to get involved with youth in the Nashville community? Did you know that 30%+ of Nashville’s homeless community are LGBTQ youth? Launch Pad is a nonprofit organization that provides a safe space for LGBTQ youth without stable housing to sleep, shower and eat.
