We officially welcomed Doug Herr @ 7am and Lauren Christian @ 10am into our Glendale Family on Easter Sunday! Signs of resurrection continue to be seen throughout this beautiful community of faith! What an amazing day of celebration of God’s love!

From Doug (he/him): “My daily doubts make the Welcome of Glendale not just appealing but truly imperative. Joining this church today involves a commitment to redefine every liturgical word, reject judgment, and love each of you, and I seek your support in my journey to live into my authentic, loving nature. I seek to become a better welcome for all with whom I interact, and to be an example for my son of what a happy, successful man looks like – who is also a part of this loving community.”

From Lauren (she/her): “I moved to Nashville in 2008 and many times tried to find a church that was affirming and accepted me for who I was. Shortly after we started dating, Elizabeth told me about her church here at Glendale. At first I was hesitant, but with the love I felt here – I have found a whole brand new family in all of you! I can call Pastor Steph and ask her why things are they way they are and there is no judgement. (She is definitely underpaid considering she is like my spiritual therapist!) When I come here, I find that peace that Pastor Steph has been preaching on… and I found it here because of all of you! I thank you for allowing me to be a part of the Glendale family.”
