Giving thanks to God that Kerry Garner found his new church home with us + officially joined on Sunday! We are blessed by his spirit of love + kindness he shares within our community + out into the world!

A little bit about him:

“I grew up in Kuttawa, KY and have been in Nashville since 1988. I graduated from Murray State University and am a CPA and managing director of tax with a company in Franklin.  I am also active with the Tennessee Pride Chamber and am currently on the board as Treasurer.

I have been a lifelong member of Glenns Chapel United Methodist Church in my hometown in Kentucky. After Glenns Chapel recently voted to leave the denomination, I knew that it was time to make a change and join an inclusive and affirming church. I was first introduced to Glendale at the BoroPride in 2021 while I was working a booth for my car club. After visiting Glendale for a worship service, I knew that I had found the church that I had been missing in my life.”
