We are SO blessed that Heather Gee-Thomas (she/her) is back with us at Glendale and chose to make us her church family! She has also formed our new LBTQIA+ Mom and Allies group to help us be even more intentional in our affirming justice work as a church!

From Heather: “I have a bit of a history with Glendale. From the age of 10-13 my family attended here where I served as an acolyte. My passion and purpose are as advocate, ally and fighter for equality and justice. I was drawn back to Glendale because of its inclusive and loving nature. I had seen Glendale at Pride and heard that it was affirming and reconciling. But it wasn’t until I met Alan Whitley, a friend of my son Shaw, that I felt God’s shoulder tap that it was time to come back. Alan invited me to visit and his warmth along with so many others made me realize that I had found my people. I feel your love every time I walk through the door. This is a special place! O am so thankful to make it official and start the next season of my faith journey.“
