A little bit about her:“I was raised Baptist, but it wasn’t until I began attending another nearby UMC that I got really engaged with a church family. Since leaving there, I searched but never really found a church home though I have remained spiritually connected. When I visited Glendale, I felt the warmth and welcoming presence of God in others. I loved that I saw some familiar faces and that the open and welcoming philosophy was embraced here. Seeing a t-shirt that read ‘I’m sorry the church hurt and failed you’ was one of the things that sealed the deal for me. I am excited to get involved and give back of the gifts I feel that I have been so fortunate to receive.”
