Even though Chris & Dusty have only been with us since August, they have already become an invaluable part of our community! We were so thankful that they chose to make Glendale their church home yesterday in worship! Welcome to our Glendale Family, you two!

A little bit about them: “We both have roots in the Southeast and lived in Atlanta for over 21 years before moving to the Nashville area this past May to be closer to family that live in Tennessee. We have been together for 17 years, enjoy traveling and spending time with our two rescue dogs, Daisy and Biscuit. We were both raised Southern Baptist and never felt a sense of belonging and acceptance within the Church. After being away from the Church for over two decades, we decided a couple of years ago that it was time to reconnect with the Christian community through an inclusive church – Eastside Church in Atlanta, GA. Once moving to Nashville, we began attending churches that were part of the Reconciling Ministries Network. At Glendale, the welcoming message and sermons that supported equality, social justice, and diversity resonated with us both as well as the overall vision of continued growth of ministry and fellowship. We have enjoyed meeting new people and look forward to growing in our faith and with the Glendale family.”
