Although Caitlin Chase has long been part of our church family, she made it official today! We give so much thanks for all she brings to our community – we are so blessed
A little bit about her:
“I grew up attending primarily reformed churches. Even though I attended services regularly and served as a Sunday school teacher, I never felt like I measured up or could fully be myself. After moving to Nashville, I tried several different churches hoping to find one that truly embodied the phrase Love You Neighbor. I was tired of churches claiming to love others while constantly judging them if they didn’t fit the mold. It wasn’t until 2020 that I heard about inclusive churches and in 2021, I was able to to look for one.
So I did what any millennial would do and I Googled inclusive churches in Nashville. Glendale was the first one that popped up. From the first time I walked through the doors, I felt not only welcomed, but seen and cared for. I finally felt like I found a church I could call home – one that truly embodies loving your neighbor.” AMEN to that!
