We were SO excited to [officially] welcome Brian Harris into our Glendale Family today during worship! Giving thanks that he saw that one important post on social media, gave us a chance on his first visit, and has found his church home with us! Learn a little about him below!

From Brian (he/him): “I was raised Baptist in my hometown outside of St. Louis. When I was 10, my mother decided to leave the church and I was given the option to stay or leave. Well at 10, that was an easy decision to make. I did not return to church until my 40’s.

After being pestered to go to church by a friend, I finally went and found my “home church” at The Cathedral of Hope, the largest gay congregation in the world, in Dallas, TX.

After moving to Nashville, I was looking for a new church home. However, with the pandemic, a change of career, and going from church to church, I just could not find the right space. This all changed when I saw a social media post from Tim Haywood when he became a member at Glendale. The next week I came and it happened – I found my space. I am very excited for this next chapter in my faith and could not be happier to become a member of Glendale!”
