“…and I thank you for making the house of the Lord a happy place for me again.”
We were SO thankful to officially welcome Lina (she/they), Anna (she/her), and the terrific trio into our Glendale Family yesterday during worship! Welcome, home!
From Lina : “As a queer woman, I was seeking an affirming and inclusive church that my wife and I could raise our family in. From our first Sunday visiting to the recent wrapping around of our family in the early days of fostering the terrific trio, I have felt Glendale encapsulate what it means to be a church family and rally around those who need us.”

From Anna: “In 2014, I came out as a lesbian, and was kicked out of my church. Of all the churches I have tried since then, Glendale has been the only one that felt like coming home again. I am extraordinarily grateful for the support of this community as our family has grown. The meals and encouragement from Glendale have been beyond our wildest dreams of love and help. Glendale is home to me, and I thank you for making the house of the Lord a happy place for me again.”
