Fitness Classes & Running Groups at Glendale
Attending a group fitness class or running group is a great way to stay motivated and build community! All of the classes listed below are included in our Group Fitness program. Looking for a particular class, but don’t see it offered? Email your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org to help us add future class offerings.
Senior Adult Exercise Class – Free
Mondays @ 10am & Fridays @ 2pm
Sitting or standing, this class offers a small group atmosphere with light weights while following a DVD workout. All ability levels are welcome! Contact Marty @ email@example.com for more info.
Adult Fitness Class – $10/class
Wednesday Mornings | 10am – 10:45am
This fitness class will be fun, energetic, and efficient! Everyone will be working at their own speed and motivating each other at the same time. This small group class is run by Stephanie Kemp, and includes a combination of core strength and high intensity burst intervals. Burst Training has been shown to be extremely effective for losing weight and increasing overall fitness. The class may use sandbags, kettle bells, TRX, and plyometrics on the playground will be put to great use! Contact Stephanie @ firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
STARTING SEPTEMBER 7th! Yoga Class – $5/class
Thursday Evenings | 6pm – 7pm
Whether yoga is your passion or just something you’ve always been curious about, this class is for you. Led by Jessica Baldwin, ERYT, this class is your chance to build strength of body, mind and heart. Class will focus on the fundamentals of yoga including breath work, deep stretching, intentional movement and meditation. With a deep dose of love and a healthy dash of laughter, we will work together to find harmony and balance – both on, and off, the mat. All experience levels are welcome with open arms.
